Picking Cherries

We went cherry picking with a bunch of our friends last week. We picked all that we wanted. The girls ate as much as we picked (almost). I love all the u-pick farms around. It's so much fun for everyone.

Brookey's been taking swim lesson the last few weeks. It's been a little chilly but she has been doing great. She gets to do them with her BFFs Haylee, James, Jakub, and Kayla. Her teacher Megan is super cute with them. Brooke asks me everyday if it's swim day. She loves going.

Brookey's Purple Party

I'm a bit behind on my posts, but I forgot to post about Brookelyn's 3rd Birthday Party. Her favorite color is purple so we did a purple party. All the friends came in purple outfits. They played with purple playdough, ate purple foods, and played purple games. I think it was fun. She was going to have a purple cake, but I went to finish it an hour before the party and it didnt work out. So we went to the store and bought closest thing I could find.

Easter Present

Brookey got this for Easter. Not really we were just buying it anyways, but we had it ready for Easter. Well almost. It's still missing the slide. We got too tired and will finish it tomorrow.

Summer

Here is a slide show of our summer. We've just had a fun summer and not time to show it. Enjoy if you want. Some of the pictures arent awesome, but they will do.

Update

Its been a while since I blogged. And truthfully there hasn't been much going on. We are still just plugging away.

Darren has started working on a shed. He got a bunch of power tools for Christmas that he is putting to good use. Ill post more pics when he gets it put up.

What an adorable helper.

I've been exercising my butt off, literally. My girlfriends and I are doing a Biggest Loser Competition. We have just a few weeks left so we will just have to see how this all plays out. Ill decide if I want to post after pics at that point.

Brookey has been up to everything and more of everything. She has pretty much got the potty training down. We do still have accidents, but we have made it through quite a few days dry. She talks almost non-stop. And is picking up on everything we, the TV, everyone else says. She loves to sing, which is very fun. Our favorite songs she sings are- Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam (including the jumps on the beams), the ABC song (she can get most of the letters), Itsy Bitsy Spider, Wise man/Foolish man. All with actions and cuteness that a two year old can add.

We are looking forward to a small family trip to Disneyland in June. Brookelyn loves Mickey Mouse House and Tinkerbell, so we thought it would be so cute to take her to see all of them. Other than that, we are just same ol', same ol'.
