Two Weeks Old

Brookelyn is 2 weeks old. So here is an update of her growth and progress.

She has been very sleepy. She sleeps for about four hours at a time between feedings.

So I decided I needed to wake her up by kissing her.

This is what happens after she did wake up. Actually its her thowing a fit for being put in her car seat.

She made a new friend, a teddy bear that a friend gave her, this made her happier (She actually wouldnt look at it or touch it.)

New Layout

I figured its a new year with new changes to come, why not start with my blog. I went pink for two reasons; first, Valentine's Day is coming and why not be prepared for it, and second, more importantly, my baby girl is coming any time now, and why not have a cute girly look to post her first picture on. So, I hope you think the new look is as cute as I do.

Obsession

The Twilight Series, by Stephenie Meyer

So many of you know about these books. And know how completely sucked in you can get just reading them. Well I too have been trapped. I was flying back from Utah to Cali and ended up with a 2 hour delay. So I went to the bookstore at the airport to choose a book, and low and behold there was the first book. My sister Heather had read these books and recommended them highly so I thought why not. Well, Darren can attest for this, I have been completely obsessed with reading them. I finished the first book in 2 days, and had to go buy the second and third books. I just finished the second book and am afraid to start the third, because I have totally neglected Darren and feel like I need to spend some quality time with him to make up for the last few days. And to hopefully convince him that I should start the third book. If you haven't noticed my music it is the soundtrack for the movie based on the books. I found the list on the authors website. Yes totally obsessed, and nothing I can do about it!

Update: I waited one week before starting the third book. But then I finished the book in just two days. So if you know of any books that I should totally read, let me know!
