Hairy Situation

So I've totally forgot to post this so here it is. For those who havent see me in the last few weeks I have made a big change, see if you can tell what it is.

Just a little bit different. I decided I need a big change and I like it. I donated 10 in to Locks of Love. I'm still learning how to do my hair since I cant just pull it up anymore. I actually bought a straightener and take a deep breath....... my very first blow dryer. Fun Huh!!!

Eight Months

Here is our monthly update of Brookelyn. Mostly random pics.

These pictures are what happens when Darren baby sits. Brookey has also started cheesing whenever the camera comes out.


This is Brookelyn in time out. She actually thinks its fun except she cant figure out how to get off the ledge. Also this is a sneek peek of the family room. When I get it all finished I'll post pics.

Brookelyn always wants to play with our laptop every time we get it out. So we decided to give her an old one to play with.

Now you know why we didnt want her to play with the real one.

The 6 Random things about me:

1. I hate mornings. I just dont do them very well. I have tried for years to be better at being a morning person but I just cant do it. Even now with Brookelyn wanting to be up at 8 am I still lay on the couch and let her play by herself until 9.

2. I dye my hair. I know Im not supposed to admit that but in my family its just accepted. My family goes gray really early. So now I dye my hair different colors just to make things fun.

3. I watch teeny bopper shows like America's Next Top Model, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill and Pussy Cat Dolls. Im obsessed with these shows, they are my soaps. I guess you could call them my guilty pleasure.

4. I remember song lyrics really well. Darren makes fun of me because I can sing along with just about any radio station. From 60s to present, country to rap, I can sing a majority of them.

5. Im secretly a punk rock girl. I even got punched in the jaw in a mosh pit. It was at Flogging Molly concert a couple of years ago. Now my jaw pops out when ever I chew gum or something really chewy.

6. I can be bribed with Ice Cream, Twix and Mountain Dew. I love all three of them. When Im having really bad days Darren knows to bring me home a Dew and a Twix.

Yummy, huh! This is just some of our garden yummies. Darren is so proud of himself. Good job!!
