October

So I was meaning to do a Halloween post but I didn't get around to it. So when I finally did get the pictures off the camera I found some others that are just too cute. So now it's an October post.

Brookelyn fell on her head just before these pictures. She loved those flowers.

Brookelyn kept taking off her diapers and making messes everywhere. So we decided that she was ready for potty training. Well it is an ongoing thing but she is doing pretty well with it. Just this week she has realized that she needs to go potty. YEAH! I'm not minding that there aren't many poopy diapers anymore.

Alaska

So I realize its been over a month since we got back from Alaska but I really wanted to post some of the pictures still.

This is us fishing. I didn't like when they had to bop it on the head. What good looking fishes.

I ran in a 5k race. My sister and her two friends ran the half marathon. If was fun and challenging. I hadnt competed in a race since high school, and could definitely tell the next day.

Went hiking in Whittier, wishing it was snowboarding season.

Crib

Well as you can tell we've had to switch her to a toddler bed. And truthfully she did great transitioning. Just a few sleepless nights, but now its almost better. What a big girl!

Anniversary

So this is totally going to embarrass Darren but I have had a few requests.

This picture was taken on our second date. We went to the Valentines Dance together.

The only reason I'm posting this is because it is our 9th Wedding Anniversary. Obviously we have changed a little bit, but we are still as in love as ever. (sappy enough for ya) Darren, you are still as cute as ever and will always be my best friend and of course lover (bom chicka wah wah). I love you!!!

Mmmm Grass

A couple weeks ago we put grass in our backyard. Here are a couple pics. We just love it! Brookelyn and I go play on it daily just because we can.

White Trash

So we were invited to a friends birthday party. The theme of the party was 'white trash'. Everyone dressed up in their best white trash attire, and well this is our outfits.

We won best couple. We also won best white trash snack. We brought McDonald's cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets, cut into pieces, and stuck with toothpicks. The necked babe was just a plus. She was actually supposed to be at the sitters but she got sick and threw up. She has had a sinus infection and coughed too hard.

Easter? Better Late than Never!

Here she is in her pretty Easter dress. I know kind of blurry but its the best shot of her dress.

For Easter Brookelyn had a black eye. She fell and gashed it open on the entertainment stand the night before.

We went to a couple of Easter egg hunts, one for Mountain House and another for our ward.

After church Brookey got her basket and got to look for more eggs. Darren got to look for some too, he was more excited than Brookelyn.
