Brookelyn's Second Birthday

Happy Birthday to my baby girl, Brookelyn. I cant believe she is two already. She is such a smart, funny, crazy little girl. She is into everything and up to it all. She loves to run, play, sing, and especially dance. She attracts attention everywhere we go with her cuteness.
Her vocabulary is increasing everyday. Some of her new favorite words are; carwash, coming (everything is coming with us, cup coming, blanky coming, me coming, daddy coming, etc.), me, me, me, me, wite back (be right back), alright, boo mamma, hep (help), yite on (light on), and did I mention me.
Here are some pictures from her party.

Here she is blowing out the candles.

A picture of the kiddos.

The cake: Brookelyn loves Tinkerbell right now, so she got a Tinkerbell cake.

Fingers in the cake before we could even get a picture.

Another picture of Brookelyn and her cute little friends.

Here it is....

So I pulled out my camera looking for pictures for a post and found a bunch. I had forgot about them from the last couple months.

November - Thanksgiving

Im thankful for my teacher sunday. Brookeyln loved helping with the frosting and that we traced her hand for the turkey.

The awesome pie I made from scratch. It was yummy too.

December - Christmas
She had fallen asleep in the car and woke up when Santa talked.

Making cookies with her cousin Chloe, Aunt Melissa, and Momma

My dad went to Jared's and was proud of his gift to my mom.
The loot. Brookey got a Tinkerbell doll. She loves Tinkerbell right now.
January
My baby got her first hair cut. It was just a trim but she had enough that it needed to be cut. Thanks Aunt Jen for cutting her hair.

Oh No!

So I was told by a friend that I hadn't updated my blog lately. She was right, since it still had a Christmas background. But some how while changing my background I broke my friends and family links.
So I'm putting out a call if I am a reader of your blog or you have a blog that I would read, please, please send me the link so I can stalk, I mean read your blog again. I'm so sad. I guess that's what I get for trying to do an update when I should be in bed.

UPDATE: So I have now realized that because I like to blogstalk people and "follow" their blogs on the google reader, I already have everybodies blog address at hand. But if your not on my list, and you read my blog, then I want to read yours.

October

So I was meaning to do a Halloween post but I didn't get around to it. So when I finally did get the pictures off the camera I found some others that are just too cute. So now it's an October post.
Brookelyn fell on her head just before these pictures. She loved those flowers.

Hanging with Grammy, Andy and Papa, when they came to visit.

Peeling corn with daddy.

Brookelyn kept taking off her diapers and making messes everywhere. So we decided that she was ready for potty training. Well it is an ongoing thing but she is doing pretty well with it. Just this week she has realized that she needs to go potty. YEAH! I'm not minding that there aren't many poopy diapers anymore.

Brookelyn in her Halloween costume. (She's a flower, in case you couldn't tell) I made her costume, and I think it turned out pretty well.

Carving the pumpkin. I was the cutter, they were the gutters.

Here he is. Darren told B to lick the pumpkin. I told her to kiss it.

Alaska

So I realize its been over a month since we got back from Alaska but I really wanted to post some of the pictures still.
This is us fishing. I didn't like when they had to bop it on the head. What good looking fishes.
Brookelyn and her cousin Kayla in matchy-matchy dresses. My sister made the dresses.
On the glacier tour

I ran in a 5k race. My sister and her two friends ran the half marathon. If was fun and challenging. I hadnt competed in a race since high school, and could definitely tell the next day.

Went hiking in Whittier, wishing it was snowboarding season.

Some scenery from our travels.
