Really?!
So I thought for sure that I had matured and moved on since high school, but obviously I'm still stuck. How sad!

Little Camper
We went to our ward camp out, here are some pics. We had a lot of fun. Brookelyn did great until we went to bed and then she cried and fussed. She only fussed for a little bit, then finally we put her in bed with us and she did great. About half way through the night we decided that she was warm enough and put her on her own bed. She slept until morning, when the other families in our camp made enough noise to wake us up.
Brookelyn in the tent, she wasnt sure about it, but decided it was pretty fun.

Grass is yucky
So I thought this was pretty funny. We went to the park the other day just to hang out and play. Darren and I had a Frisbee we were throwing and I thought Brookelyn would crawl after us while we played. So I set her a little bit away from where we were playing. The whole time we played she just sat there, very contently. We thought it was because she had just woke up from a nap. But really it was because she didn't want to touch the grass. She would stick her hand out to crawl forward but the grass would poke her hand and she didn't like that. Later we put her on the blanket and she did the same thing. She would crawl to the edge of the blanket then as soon as her hand touched the grass she would just stop and not move. I guess we found our baby gate. If only we had grass in our yard, or at the top and bottom of the stairs, it would be great.

Seven Months
My cute little one is getting so big.
This is how I would find her after naps and in the middle of the night. Usually screaming, not smiling. Obviously we had to take the bumpers out and lower the mattress.
Brookelyn graduated to a high chair. I thought she was getting big, but I was wrong. She looks tiny in her big chair.

(If you look at the middle picture up close you can see her two teeth)

This is what happens when Darren feeds Brookelyn. He has gotten much, much better but sometimes this still happens.
Here is a picture of Brookey at the beach. I like the skinny legs sticking out the bottom of the life jacket.
Update from Brookelyn's last post. We thought she was smart then, and now she is climbing the stairs. She crawled over to them like she did last time but this time she just went right up the stairs like she had been doing it for years. She shocked us, now we are really in deep trouble.

Time Out
So I went to the Time Out for Women on last Friday and Saturday with some of the girls from my ward. We had a great time. I left Brookelyn with Darren for the night. I didnt really feel that guilty for leaving her home, but after a few hours I felt guilty. But after calling Darren and realizing she was just fine, I felt much better. Then I was able to relax and have a good time. I think it was a good experience for all three of us. Darren did great with Brookelyn. I really appreciate him for taking her. Thanks Darrebear, I love you!
Thanks to the girls that I went with also for taking me out and making me have fun. Here is a picture of all of us at dinner afterwards. We are so cute!
We forgot a camera so this was taken with my phone. Good enough I say.
