Its Garden Time

Like last year we decided to plant a garden. We all helped this year. These are the pictures of our fun.

Wicked

A couple of weeks ago my sister Heather came to visit and we went and saw Wicked. We had a really good time going out and playing. I always get excited when family comes to visit and Heather is so much fun to hang out with.

I had forgotten to take my camera with us so we took these pictures with my phone. I have two more picture but for some reason my phone isnt wanting to cooperate and send the pictures to my email. I have been trying almost everyday to see if it will work, so thats why it has taken me so long to do this post.

Brookelyn's First Birthday

Brookelyn had her first birthday. We decided to have a little party. Since our family doesnt live real close by we invited all of Brookelyn's friends over. She just love other kids and was excited to have them at our house.

We had the kids decorate their own cupcakes, which they all had fun doing. I was a little messy but not too bad.

I created this beautiful masterpiece of a cake.

Then it was time for cake. Brookelyn loved it.

She also had a little help.

Then we opened presents. She loved getting new toys, phones, jewelery, and purses.

That night I was too tired to cook so we went out to eat. Brookelyn was so funny and cute I just had to take a picture.

2 favorite months: July- my birthday and holidays, February- Darren, Brooeklyn, both moms (well Faye's is actually Jan 31, so close enough), my grandma, my sister and brother's birthdays are all in February. I guess I just love birthdays.

2 favorite foods (and you can't say Pizza): ice cream- strawberry and mint cookies and cream, and Mama Mare's Italian Soup

2 favorite nuts: pistachios and salty or chocolate covered peanuts

2 favorite stores: Kohl's and Target, I go to target every Tuesday as my stress release

2 favorite activities: going for walks with Darren and snuggling on the couch

2 favorite huggers: My daddy- I admit I am a daddies girl, and my brother Nephi- he is just so big and cuddly and half the time he picks me up

2 favorite conversationalists (besides spouse): Well I call my sisters or mom when I am down and need a lift, and the girls in my ward- all of them are fun in their own ways.

Ode to my bro's

So I have been thinking about this since I got back from Utah. I sure love my brothers! I got to spend alot of time with them while I was there. I am still laughing at some of the stuff they said and did. I still cringe at some of the stuff they said and did too. My brothers are my closest siblings in age to me.
My older brother, Nephi, has always been my protector and shinning example. I felt like he always took care of me, even when I didnt want him to. It was so hard to live up to his example in everything he did. He has always been strong and a solid in my life.
My lil brother, Andy, is my purist and adventurist. He always sees the best in people and makes friends with everyone, everywhere we go, which I dont do so well. He also tries everything whether or not its safe. He doesnt have a scaredy bone in him.
I know that I wouldnt be the crazy girl I am if it werent for my brothers and their zaniness. I also love my brother-in-laws too. They sure keep me on my toes. Between the jokes and pokes I have to be alert and ready for anything. They all make me laugh in their own special ways. So John, Chris, Scott, Alan, Brian, Michael, and Brent, you guys are great!
And Darren really loves hanging with all the bro's too, which is a plus in my book!

11 Months and Christmas

Ta-da! Here are all the picture that were promised from our trip.

We had a very busy trip. We stayed with my sister Jenny for a couple days. Stayed with my mom and dad for Christmas. Stayed with Darrens parents for a couple of days. On one of those days we went to the Watson Family party, always fun to eat and enjoy everybodys company. Went back to Provo for a day to go snowboarding. Then to Idaho for a wedding. Back to Provo after that, had car problems and fixed that. Then finally home after 15 days away.

This is funny cuz the blanket is on her head, the bag is usually next to the bed, and she is holding the railing with her toes.

Brookey didnt know what to think about the snow and being dressed in a snow suit.

But probably the best part of going to Utah was Brookelyn got to play with her cousins:

I didnt have any pictures of Tess and Brookelyn playing together. But Tess would be laying on the floor like this and Brookelyn would come and sit on her, then they would both laugh.

This is the love that Brookelyn feels for Elise all hugs and smiles.

Chloe-

These two girls got into so much trouble, but because they were so cute you couldnt get mad.

We went to Randy and Janna's wedding. It was so fun to see all the cousins, aunts and uncles.

We were in the car alot. Sometimes Brookelyn would be so confused about what was going on when she woke up. And sometimes she was just confused about who was sitting by her.

Darren and I got to go snowboarding with Chris, Nephi and Andy.

New Year

So its a new year and I dont feel like doing anything. I dont want to make goal, because I wont keep them so whats the use. I dont feel like cleaning my house, its a huge mess. I dont feel like exercising even though I got a new video for Christmas. I guess I just need a little rest after being gone for over 2 weeks. I made myself even do this blog. Well when I feel a bit more chipper I will post some pictures. For now Im going to hunker down and eat some ice cream or have some hot chocolate. Maybe Ill take a nap and feel better later.
